NEW DELHI: Unlike past practice, there shall be no hike in the Toll Tax at the Toll Plaza<\/a>s across Jammu and Kashmir with the commencement of new financial year from April 1, 2024. According to Y P S Yadon, J&K Project Director, National Highway Authority of India<\/a>, the Toll Tax has not been revised for the new financial year. However, he did not elucidate the reason behind the same. Pertinent to mention that Toll Tax<\/a> is generally revised every year with effect from April 1 and the hike depends upon wholesale price index under the provisions of NH Fee Rules.<\/p>\n
