{"id":13464,"date":"2024-03-23T08:25:06","date_gmt":"2024-03-23T08:25:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/?p=13464"},"modified":"2024-03-23T08:25:06","modified_gmt":"2024-03-23T08:25:06","slug":"bsf-special-director-general-reviews-operational-preparedness-along-loc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/bsf-special-director-general-reviews-operational-preparedness-along-loc\/","title":{"rendered":"BSF Special Director General Reviews Operational Preparedness Along LoC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, Mar 23: Special Director General (SDG) of the BSF\u2019s Western Command, Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, concluded a five-day visit in the <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/night-temp-rises-amid-forecast-for-snow-rains-in-kashmir\/\">Kashmir valley<\/a> which was aimed to assess the security situation and operational preparedness of the force along the <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/pak-intruder-arrested-along-loc-in-rajouri\/\">Line of Control<\/a> (LoC), an official said here on Saturday.<br \/>\nThe SDG of Western Command Chandigarh undertook a significant five-day visit to the Kashmir Frontier from March 18 to 22, a BSF spokesman said.<br \/>\nThe spokesman said the visit aimed to assess the security situation and operational preparedness along the LoC, reaffirming the commitment of the BSF to safeguard India\u2019s borders.<br \/>\nThe visit commenced with a detailed briefing by Inspector General, BSF Kashmir Frontier, Ashok Yadav, on the <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/army-16-corps-goc-briefs-lg-about-security-situation-in-jammu\/\">security situation<\/a> on the LoC and hinterland, he said.<br \/>\nThe spokesman said the visit included an aerial reconnaissance and visits to forward defended localities, as well as to the Sector Headquarters (SHQ) BSF in Kupwara and Srinagar.<br \/>\nAt each location, the SDG engaged with the local BSF Commanders and troops gaining firsthand insights into the security scenario and operational readiness along the LoC.<br \/>\nKhurania also called on General Officer Commanding (GoC) 15 Corps, Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, and discussed the collaborative efforts between the BSF and the Army, and underscored the paramount importance of synergy for achieving peace, prosperity and development in the valley, the spokesman said.<br \/>\nThe BSF officer visited the Composite Hospital and STC BSF, Kashmir, where he reviewed ongoing physical and professional skill training of recruits.<br \/>\nHe commended the professionalism and expertise of the training team at STC BSF, Kashmir, highlighting their role in shaping the future of BSF personnel.<br \/>\nDuring the visit, Khurania interacted with senior officers, subordinate officers and jawans through a \u201cPrahari Sammelan\u201d.<br \/>\nThe BSF SDG lauded the high level of professionalism exhibited by the BSF personnel and urged them to maintain high vigil to thwart any attempts to disrupt peace and harmony in the valley.<br \/>\nKhurania\u2019s visit to the <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/employee-rendering-services-continuously-for-seven-years-cant-be-denied-regularisation-jk-high-court\/\">Kashmir<\/a> Frontier underscores the BSF\u2019s unwavering commitment to safeguard India\u2019s borders and ensure the safety and security of its citizens, the spokesman said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_13465\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13465\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-13465\" src=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Screenshot-2024-03-23-at-1.53.04-PM-300x179.png\" alt=\"BSF Special Director General Reviews Operational Preparedness Along LoC\" width=\"300\" height=\"179\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-13465\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">BSF Special Director General Reviews Operational Preparedness Along LoC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, Mar 23: Special Director General (SDG) of the BSF\u2019s Western Command, Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, concluded a five-day visit in the Kashmir valley which was aimed to assess the security situation and operational preparedness of the force along the Line of Control (LoC), an official said here on Saturday.
