{"id":12576,"date":"2024-03-11T06:19:47","date_gmt":"2024-03-11T06:19:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/?p=12576"},"modified":"2024-03-11T06:19:47","modified_gmt":"2024-03-11T06:19:47","slug":"what-steps-have-you-taken-to-disclose-details-of-electoral-bonds-sc-to-sbi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/what-steps-have-you-taken-to-disclose-details-of-electoral-bonds-sc-to-sbi\/","title":{"rendered":"What Steps Have You Taken To Disclose Details Of Electoral Bonds: SC To SBI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New Delhi, Mar 11: A five-judge <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/president-gives-assent-to-jk-scheduled-tribes-amendment-act-2024\/\">Constitution<\/a> bench of the <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/no-immunity-for-mp-or-mlas-for-taking-bribes-sc\/\">Supreme Court<\/a> on Monday asked the <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/highway-toll-collector-ihmcl-removes-paytm-payments-bank-from-list-of-banks-authorised-to-issue-fastag\/\">State Bank of India<\/a> to apprise it about the steps taken so far to ensure disclosure of details of electoral bonds encashed by political parties before the scheme was scrapped last month.<br \/>\nCommencing the crucial hearing, the bench headed by<a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/cji-refuses-to-respond-to-criticism-over-judgements-on-scrapping-article-370-same-sex-marriage\/\"> Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud<\/a> said it had asked the SBI to do a \u201cplain disclosure\u201d as per the court\u2019s judgment.<br \/>\nIn a landmark verdict delivered on February 15, a five-judge Constitution bench scrapped the Centre\u2019s electoral bonds scheme that allowed anonymous political funding, calling it \u201cunconstitutional\u201d and ordered disclosure by the Election Commission of donors, the amount donated by them and the recipients by March 13.<br \/>\n\u201cIn the last 26 days, what steps have you taken?
