{"id":12156,"date":"2024-03-03T13:18:47","date_gmt":"2024-03-03T13:18:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/?p=12156"},"modified":"2024-03-03T13:18:47","modified_gmt":"2024-03-03T13:18:47","slug":"new-start-up-policy-with-focus-to-set-up-2000-start-ups-by-2027-launched-in-jk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/new-start-up-policy-with-focus-to-set-up-2000-start-ups-by-2027-launched-in-jk\/","title":{"rendered":"New Start-Up Policy With Focus To Set Up 2000 Start-Ups By 2027 Launched In J&#038;K"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jammu, Mar 3: Jammu and Kashmir <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/lg-manoj-sinha-addresses-closing-ceremony-of-rotary-clubs-week-long-mega-health-camp-in-poonch-and-rajouri\/\">LG Manoj Sinha<\/a> on Sunday launched a new start-up policy with a focus to establish 2,000 start-ups in the <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/people-now-enjoying-nightlife-in-kashmir-lg-sinha\/\">Union Territory<\/a> by 2027.<br \/>\nThe \u2018New Jammu &amp; Kashmir Start-up Policy- 2024-27\u2019 will also provide patent-related assistance, financial assistance for mentorship to recognised start-ups, facilitation for department for promotion of industry and internal trade (DPIIT) registration and additional need-based support to start-ups working in diverse fields, Sinha said in Jammu.<br \/>\nOn February 22, <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/eci-to-notify-lok-sabha-poll-schedule-in-next-20-days-jk-ceo-pk-pole\/\">Jammu and Kashmir<\/a> administrative council headed by the lieutenant governor approved the new start-up policy in supersession to the start-up policy notified in 2018.<br \/>\nThe new policy provides for providing entrepreneurship facilities to students, women and support to the entrepreneurs through government, private and high net worth individuals (HNIs) for setting up start-ups.<br \/>\nTerming the launch of the new policy as a \u201cgiant leap for start-ups and innovators\u201d, the lieutenant governor said it has been meticulously drafted to establish 2,000 start-ups in the Union Territory by 2027, underscoring the commitment of the administration to foster a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem.<br \/>\n\u201cNew start-up policy aims to set up a Rs 250-crore venture capital fund, with an initial infusion of Rs 25 crore from the J&amp;K administration.
