SRINAGAR: The meteorological department<\/a> has predicted widespread rains and snow at most places in Jammu and Kashmir today with the possibility of “heavy to very heavy snowfall” over the higher reaches. In a statement, a MeT spokesman said “heavy to very heavy” snow is likely over higher reaches of Kashmir and Pir Panjal in Jammu. He said there is a possibility of gusty winds (35-45 KMPH) at many places. In view of the forecast, it advised travellers and tourists to plan their journeys accordingly. He said there are chances of landslides and mudslides and shooting stones at a few places.<\/p>\n
