{"id":11538,"date":"2024-02-22T11:18:41","date_gmt":"2024-02-22T11:18:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/?p=11538"},"modified":"2024-02-22T11:18:41","modified_gmt":"2024-02-22T11:18:41","slug":"administrative-council-approves-development-of-7-new-industrial-estates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/administrative-council-approves-development-of-7-new-industrial-estates\/","title":{"rendered":"Administrative Council approves development of 7 New Industrial Estates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">JAMMU, FEBRUARY 22: <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/ac-approves-incentives-for-establishing-food-processing-units-by-cooperative-societie\/\">Administrative Council<\/a> (AC) which met here under the chairmanship of <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/efforts-on-to-create-inclusive-equitable-society-in-jk-lg-sinha\/\">Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha<\/a>, accorded administrative approval for the development of\u00a0 seven\u00a0 new Industrial Estates in the UT of J&amp;K\u00a0 spread over 5290 kanals of land\u00a0 for an amount of Rs. 304.51 Crores .<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor; <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/dulloo-administers-pledge-to-officers-on-14th-nvd\/\">Atal Dulloo, Chief Secretary<\/a>; Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Principal Secretary to Lieutenant Governor attended the meeting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The estimated investment\u00a0 in these seven new Industrial Estates is Rs. 8700.16 Crores\u00a0 with\u00a0 employment potential of 28376 persons.\u00a0 These 7 new Industrial Estates are situated at Banderpora Budgam, Sempora Medicity, Srinagar, Bhagthali, Kathua, Karandi, Samba, Trenz, Shopian,\u00a0 Hariparigam Tral Pulwama\u00a0 and Khunmoh, Pantha Chowk Srinagar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Industrial Estate Banderpora <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/budgam-police-cracks-burglary-case-1-arrested\/\">Budgam<\/a> involving 64 kanals of State Land\u00a0 shall be developed at an estimated cost of Rs. 22.74 crore\u00a0 by\u00a0 IRCON. The Project would attract investment to the extent of Rs. 78.12 Crore and generate 735 employments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Industrial Estate at Sempora Medicity, Srinagar involving 517 kanals of State\u00a0 land\u00a0 shall be\u00a0 developed at an estimated cost of Rs.\u00a0 22.60 crore by IRCON. The Project would attract an investment of Rs.1825.45 Crore and has employment generation potential of around 11643 (approx.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Industrial Estate at Bhagthali, Kathua involving 2949 kanals of State Land shall be developed at an estimated cost of Rs 83.13 Crore by NBCC. The Project will attract investment of Rs.4599.89 crore and\u00a0 has employment potential of around 8278 (approx.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Industrial Estate at Karandi, Samba involving 460 kanals of State\/Private land shall be developed at an estimated cost of Rs. 34.45 Crores\u00a0 by NBCC. The Project will attract investment of Rs.756.89 crore has employment potential of around 3965 (approx.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new Industrial\u00a0 Estate at Trenz, Shopian\u00a0 involving\u00a0 500 kanals of State land shall be developed\u00a0 at an estimated\u00a0 cost of Rs. 68.06 crores by NBCC.\u00a0 The Project will attract investment of Rs.850 crore has employment potential of around 900 (approx.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Industrial Estate at Hariparigam Tral Pulwama involving of 200 kanals of land\u00a0 shall be developed at an estimated cost of Rs. 28.17 Crores\u00a0 by NBCC. The Project will attract investment of Rs.124.81 crore and has employment potential of around 2500 (approx.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Industrial Estate at Khunmoh, Pantha Chowk Srinagar involving 600 kanals of land\u00a0 shall be developed at an estimated cost of\u00a0 Rs. 45.36\u00a0 Crores by IRCON.
