According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/met-forecasts-extensive-rainfall-in-the-plains-snowfall-in-higher-elevations-in-jk\/\">meteorological department<\/a> official, Srinagar had a low of 8.9\u00b0C, down from 9.0\u00b0C the night before and 3.1\u00b0C below average for the summer capital. According to him, Qazigund recorded a low of 6.6\u00b0C, which was 4.1\u00b0C below average for the gateway town of Kashmir, compared to 7.8\u00b0C the previous night. According to him, Pahalgam in the<a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/civilian-shot-at-injured-in-south-kashmirs-bijbehara\/\"> Anantnag<\/a> district of south Kashmir recorded a low temperature of 2.6\u00b0C, down from 2.8\u00b0C the previous night and 3.5\u00b0C below typical for the well-known tourist destination.He reported that the temperature in Kupwara town, which was 3.2\u00b0C below average for the north Kashmir region, settled at 7.4\u00b0C as opposed to 8.2\u00b0C the previous night. According to the officials, Kokernag recorded a low of 7.5\u00b0C, 3.1\u00b0C below usual for the area, compared to 5.8\u00b0C the previous night. In comparison to the previous night, Gulmarg reported a low of 3.4\u00b0C, which was 3.7\u00b0C below typical for the renowned skiing destination in the Baramulla region of north Kashmir.Jammu recorded a low of 19.2\u00b0C against 20.1\u00b0C on the previous night and it was 5.7\u00b0C below normal for J&amp;K&#8217;s winter capital, he said. Banihal recorded a low of 91\u00b0C (below normal by 3.1\u00b0C), Batote 12.0\u00b0C (3.1\u00b0C below normal), Katra 17.2\u00b0C (4.4\u00b0C below normal) and Bhaderwah 8.3\u00b0C (below normal by 2.8\u00b0C).
