{"id":10289,"date":"2024-02-04T13:11:27","date_gmt":"2024-02-04T13:11:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/?p=10289"},"modified":"2024-02-04T13:11:27","modified_gmt":"2024-02-04T13:11:27","slug":"woman-robot-astronaut-vyommitra-to-fly-into-space-ahead-of-gaganyaan-dr-jitendra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/woman-robot-astronaut-vyommitra-to-fly-into-space-ahead-of-gaganyaan-dr-jitendra\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman Robot Astronaut \u2018Vyommitra\u2019 To Fly Into Space Ahead Of \u2018Gaganyaan\u2019: Dr Jitendra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI, Feb 4 : Woman Robot Astronaut \u201cVyommitra\u201d will fly into Space ahead of <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/isro-successfully-launches-its-maiden-x-ray-polarimeter-satellite\/\">ISRO<\/a>\u2019s ambitious \u201cGaganyaan\u201d mission, which will be India\u2019s first human manned Space Flight carrying Indian Astronauts into Space.<br \/>\nDisclosing this here during an interaction with media, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Science &amp; Technology; MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/modi-ensured-doorstep-delivery-of-welfare-benefits-dr-jitendra\/\">Dr Jitendra Singh<\/a> said, the uncrewed \u201cVyommitra\u201d Mission is scheduled for the third quarter of this year while a manned mission \u201cGaganyaan\u201d is scheduled to be launched next year, that is 2025.<br \/>\n\u201cVyommitra\u201d is a name derived from two Sanskrit words namely, \u201cVyoma\u201d (meaning Space) and \u201cMitra\u201d (meaning Friend). This Female Robot Astronaut, said the Minister, is equipped with the capability to monitor Module Parameters, issue Alerts and execute Life Support operations. It can perform tasks such as operating six panels and responding to the queries, he explained.<br \/>\nDr Jitendra Singh further elaborated that \u201cVyommitra\u201d Astronaut is designed in such a manner so as to simulate human functions in the Space environment and interact with the Life Support System.<br \/>\nPertinent to mention that as a run up to the launch of India\u2019s first-ever manned Space flight named \u201cGaganyaan\u201d, the first Test Vehicle Flight TV D1 was accomplished on 21st October last year. This was meant to qualify the crew escape system and parachute system.The human rating of the launch vehicle is complete. All the propulsion stages are qualified. All the preparations are in place.<br \/>\nEver since <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/country-touching-new-heights-of-progress-pm-modi\/\">Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/a> allowed private participation in the Space sector, there has been a steady increase in resources and the number of Space StartUps. By 2035, India looks forward to having her own Space Station , he added. India\u2019s Space economy is also projected to substantially increase in the near future, he said.<br \/>\nWhile the uncrewed unmanned Robot Flight \u201cVyommitra\u201d will take place this year, \u201cGaganyaan\u201d will be launched next year.<br \/>\nThe Gaganyaan project envisages demonstration of human space capabilities by launching a crew of astronauts into an orbit of 400 Kilometres and then bringing back these human astronauts safely to earth by landing them in India\u2019s sea waters.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Dr Jitendra Singh informed that <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/india-promises-to-put-man-on-the-moon-by-2040-union-minister-hardeep-singh-puri\/\">Chandrayaan 3<\/a>, which landed on the South Pole of the Moon on August 23 last year, is following its normal expected course of action.
