New Delhi, May 24 : According to data released on Wednesday by the Union Health Ministry, the number of new coronavirus infections in India has decreased from 7,104 active cases to 552.
The death toll increased to 5,31,849 with six deaths, including three that Kerala reconciled, according to data updated at 8 am.The Covid case cost a total of 4.49 crore (4,49,87,891).
According to the ministry, the national COVID-19 recovery rate has been recorded at 98.80%, and the active cases currently make up 0.01 percent of all infections.
4,44,49,451 persons have recovered from the illness, and the case fatality rate has been reported at 1.18 percent.The Covid vaccine has already been given to the nation in doses totaling 220.66 crore, according to the ministry’s website, as part of the continuing national vaccination drive.
